Business and Industry Training Services

Customized training and workforce development programs are the heart of our business. Programs are available to business, industry and non-profit organizations that are seeking to increase the skill level of their existing employees. The programs are taught at company or DeKalb Technical College locations and are scheduled to compliment all shifts.

Quick Track

DeKalb Technical College offers state-recognized energy and transportation certified programs. These programs are HOPE Grant Eligible credit programs.

Continuing Education

DeKalb Technical College offers a variety of continuing education classes for both business and non-business related subjects. Providing these programs is a way for us to carry out our goal to enhance the quality of life in our community. Choose from classes conducted at DeKalb Tech or online courses.

Directed Instruction

Our Industrial Training Directed Instruction program provides you with training that is convenient, practical and personal. This is a non-credit program so no application fee is required. The program is based at our Regional Advanced Manufacturing Center at the Newton Center. Classes are customized for the individual and range from 16 to over 40 hours. Each participant has three months to complete the class at their own pace.
