Emory Johns Creek Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship

The Emory Johns Creek Hospital Auxiliary will accept scholarship applications each year and award scholarships to qualified applicants who meet the criteria and are pursuing a career in a health-related field. The number of scholarships awarded may vary each year, with the minimum amount of a scholarship to be $2,000. Scholarships could be renewable for more than the initial year. More information regarding renewal can be obtained from the Scholarship Committee.

Completed applications with all required attachments must be received by the Scholarship Committee on or before the first Friday of March. Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Committee and notified, in writing of their selection, on or before the first Friday of May. All selections by the Committee will be considered final.

Scholarship money awarded by the Auxiliary can be used to include tuition, lab fees, and registration. It can also be applied to the cost of books, special fees, special equipment needed, and uniforms that are necessary in the course of study. Scholarship money will be sent directly to the school. Scholarship funds cannot be used for room and board.

A member of the Scholarship Committee will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the scholarship program. Please direct questions to:

Joan Holt, Scholarship Chairman, at 770-495-9628 or jvholt@bellsouth.net

The Auxiliary would be happy to consider the application of a student who meets the criteria. It would be a pleasure and privilege to provide some financial support in your educational pursuit.
